New cards I made tonight.

These are two cards I made using the Create a Critter Cartridge. The hearts were made from the Sweetheart cart, paper from Bazzill Basics, stamp and Glitz Glitter glue from CTMH. Oh and I used the I-rock for the pigs eyes and yellow bling on the giraffe.

I just think that it is real cool that today is 10/10/10.

Here is another page I did from the Caboodle Workshop On The Go. This page is a road trip we did in our home state of Arizona. We are at Sunset Point, a nice rest area to stop and take a break.

This is a cute little picture holder I made using a clothes pin from Boxer Scraps.  The paper is from CTMH. I really love this paper and am trying to use it in different decor for my house.

Justin's Memorial Picture

This is a picture that was made for Justin's memorial, his friends made this with pictures they had of him. I really love this picture. I finally got it framed this week and am very happy with it. We hung it up in the living room. I really miss my son, but am glad that I have wonderful memories and pictures.

When I first saw this paper I knew where I wanted to take pictures of my boys and use this papers. I think it is perfect. Well the papers and my boys. Picture taking still needs practice.

another Sundays picture

Here is a picture of my son Ryan. Trying to get him to smile is also a challenge. Why is it so hard to smile? They have great smiles. I think I need to work with them on smiling.

Here is a picture of Derrick, camera phone didnt do a good job. I was trying to get him to smile and stay still. not easy to do. I kept telling him to think of his cat. he always laugh when he thinks of his cat.

Friday's picture 1/7/2010

This picture is of a tree that was at Justin's grave the first year Christmas he was gone. My dad brought this tree home because the cemetery was going to through it away. I don't know who put it there, but I put it out with our tree at home every year to remember Justin and his friends who loved him so much. I really miss him. This was the 4th Christmas without him and the pain is still just as bad. My heart is still broken. I love you Justin and miss you so much. The picture in the background is of his brothers and his son. We dont get to see his son Brayden any more. I really miss seeing him also. It just breaks my heart that he doesnt get to see his Dad and he doesnt get to be apart of our family.

I am late in posting my picture of the day. I have been busy working. Well Wednesday night was the People's Choice Awards and of course I DVR'd it because I wasn't home. So I found a picture on the web to share. He of course was the winner. He has won more People's Choice Awards than any other male. He is the Top People's Choice and so that is my picture of the day. Wednesday's photo

Today's picture is of my cat, we call him the OC. He is a really cool cat. One of the many things he likes today is swing, if you are sitting on the swing, he will jump up there and swing with you. he also loves to spin on the chair, he gets on the chair and sits on the chair and meows till you spin him. he is so funny. If is about 2 years old and has a brother Simon, who is white with a little black. We also have two other cats and he likes to be with Tigger, they take their naps today. So cool. Well here is a picture of him.

Today's picture is of my dog Skipper. Yesterday the pool guy said he is neurotic. I never really thought about it, but he is. He always has to have something in his mouth, shoe, stick, piece of the fence, someones body part, what ever he can find. He is a very happy dog. and very hyper. We have tried to train him, he never settles down. We take him for walks, we take him to the park and throw a ball, he runs and runs and is so tired when we get home. After five minutes at home he is up and ready again to go. He never stops. but he just loves us and all the people who give him dog treats when they walk by the side of our house. Something else is does, he is a great escape artist, now you would think when he gets loose he would run away, no not Skipper, he goes to the front door and knocks on it. Yup he doesn't leave, he will back away from the door if one of our cats are there (he is afraid). While he is out front his sister Xena starts barking, she is really good at tattling on him. She never gets loose and hates to leave the backyard with out a leash. she isn't as neurotic as he is.

Monday's picture

Well today was a pretty busy day. Kids back in school. Yeah!! Grocery store and I also took my son to get him registered for College. I found my picture of the day there. Well there are 2 pictures. I found the sunflower and thought it looked beautiful, and I love sunflowers and I took a picture of my son Ryan while we were at the college. Both were taken with my camera on my phone and at the college. Tomorrow is work and I didn't get time to scrapbook today but am glad I did get some stuff done. Made dinner spaghetti and now I think I am going to watch a movie and relax.

Jan 2010

Starting a new year I want to make sure I work on my scrapbooking. I really want to get caught up. I am also trying to learn how to use my Cricut and my Gypsy.
I am also going to try and take a picture a day. I am thinking this will be hard but I am going to try. I am thinking less Facebook and more other stuff. lol. I am also going to work on using my treadmill every day, even if it is for ten minutes a day. I pretty much have a lot of stuff I need to do and am going to try and work on this.

Today I am working on Christmas cards. I am using my Cricut.

New Page

Derrick's Birthday

This is the first page for Derricks 12th birthday. I am using Corel Paint Shop ProX2 and it can be so slow, I am not sure why. I am doing 8 x 8 pages. Took me an hour to do just this one page. It has to get faster, my computer is new and it takes so long. Oh well I will keep working on it. I am pretty sure it is Vista. Tomorrow I hope to have more pages done.

Well since today I haven't felt to good, I decided to work on fixing my Mom's picture for her website and also did a digital layout of her and her sisters. Took me 3 hours but I finished it. I need more work with my digital scrapbooking, I can't seem to get the sizing correct.I am sure that will happen in time.

Well I have worked really hard this afternoon and tonight to make my blog look better. I still need lots of work to add to it. I hope to keep working on it. I lost some of the cool things I had and all my links and stuff like that. I will just have to redo them.
Now the banner, that was the newest pictures I could find of my boys. They don't seem to happy, oh well now that I know how to fix I will keep working on it and also on them to smile for the camera.

but they offer word press so I downloaded it
had 16 year old come in and told him to make it look right for me, said it will take a week and I said no problem.
so here I sit.
shower doors are still in the backyard waiting for husband to come home and put back in the bathroom, he told me not to touch.
Oh I also got a box from paper wishes and wants to scrapbook.

I decided to do a scrapbook page of the two. I still talk to Kayla and she is doing great and is a Mom to 2 beautiful girls.
