While I was in Dallas, I was so lucky to meet Terrie, we have been email friends for years but have never met in person. We had such a great time together, we visited the Dallas LDS Temple. We then had Dinner at LaMadeline's, I hope I spelled it correctly. I loved the food there, I wish we had something like that here in Arizona. But the best part was meeting Terrie, wouldn't have matter if we had McDonalds, I was just so glad to meet her. We have so much to talk about that we could spend the whole week together and not run out of things to talk about. Kids, family, church, life, life experiences are many of the things we talked about and could relate to each other.
Just want to tell Terrie that I am so glad that we met and hope to meet again!! You will have to come to Arizona soon.
Love Reading, Free Ebooks for my Kindle, love crafting, scrapbooking and making things. Love to share on my blog.

This one is called Cricut Artiste and it is so cool. I am so impressed with this Cricut Cartridge. There are over 700 images, the cartridge features themed projects, interactive cards, awards and more. It also comes with a separate, step by step assembly booklet.
When you purchase the Cricut Artiste collection, you will get three exclusive stamp sets and three Dimensional Elements 12 by 9 sheets. This has a retail value of $125 and you can get it for just $99.

Well I thought I would be able to post from the convention in Dallas, but we didn't have much time, kept very busy. I had an awesome time in Dallas. I had never been there before. I loved the convention and all the new products that are coming out in August, I love all the new papers, colors, stamps and the new Alcohol Markers. They gave us so much stuff to use and bring home. We got to try the alcohol markers and they are awesome. I will show samples when I can get a good picture of the samples. There is also a new Cricut Cartridge-Artiste. Also if you ever thought about signing up to be a consultant, August would be a great time to do so. I will post more about that later. Well I still need to unpack and work on some projects.

Dallas-Close To My Heart convention
Well tomorrow I am leaving for Dallas, I can't wait. I went last year to the Close To My Heart Convention at Disneyland and it was so awesome so I am excited to go. My friend Jann and I are flying together and will be rooming together, we always have a lot fun together. I will be updating from there, well I hope I am going to be able to update. We will see how the Internet works there. I am excited to go, I have never been to Dallas. I am sure the convention will be awesome with great products and classes. Well I guess I need to be up and ready to go in about 6 1/2 hours.

Thirty-One Gifts
Well I wasn't sure if I would like the stuff from Thirty-one Gifts, but my friend Kelly has so many cool bags from them that I decided to host a party at the end of the month. I am really hoping that my friends come, their stuff is so cool. Here is a picture of one of my bags that I got from my friend's party, I love the colors and the pattern, it fits me perfectly.

Color My Heart color dare #7
This week's color dare is to choose your own secondary colors: any shade of orange, green, and/or purple will do. Pick two or use all three.
I have chosen all three colors:

The Stamp: Thoughtful Tidings #S1202
Ink: Gypsy
Bling, Twine, ribbon, and flowers from my CTMH stash.
AP Cart
Here is a side view, I pop dot the sentiment. I am trying to make cards that are easy to mail.

FanFare
This page is a wall hanging. I really love the Fanfare paper pack. You can get this paper free this month. Just click on the July Special and each week there is a special paper pack.
This page is of my son Derrick who is now 15, I think this picture was done in 2003. I have another picture of him next to the same statue a few years later, I will have to find that picture and do a page together. Here is the link for the online shopping-http://dianamathieson.ctmh.com/
Grateful For You
I really love the Pemberley paper pack. I found a few challenges to do, so I decided on the Color My Heart and the Frosted Designs challenge.
- The Color My Heart challenge is Create a project using a current paper pack with one or two added colors (cardstock, ink, other B&Ts),
- The Frosted Designs Challenge is this week is to use Circles in your cards, layouts and off the page projects!
